Areas of Practice
Jason has represented publicly-traded companies, privately-held corporations, small businesses, and individuals for the past fifteen years, with cases ranging from commercial disputes to employment, personal injury, and land use/property disputes. When not engaged in litigation, Jason assists local entrepreneurs in planning and forming business entities and provides students and parents advice when navigating graduate and post-graduate discipline proceedings. Jason strives to excel at thinking strategically and being thorough with any issue presented to him for review. Before opening his own practice in Hanover, New Hampshire, he practiced in California and North Dakota where his focus was commercial litigation and public utility work.
Representative Cases
Axenics, Inc. f/k/a RenTec Corporation v. Turner Construction Company; No. 10-C-5001 (N.H. Super. Ct. 2015): Co-counsel in eighteen day trial spanning ten years and two appeals to the New Hampshire Supreme Court. Ultimately obtained judgment for $1,060,000.00 on behalf of plaintiff subcontractor for high purity infrastructure installation at a FDA approved biotech facilty.
New Hampshire Speedway, Inc. v. Motor Racing Network, Inc.; No. 2008-EQ-0099 (N.H. Super. Ct. 2011): Associate counsel in five day jury trial resulting in jury verdict in favor of the Motor Racing Network and an award of $993,724.00 in lost profits to the broadcast network. The case was subsequently appealed to the New Hampshire Supreme Court and settled on undisclosed terms.
In the Matter of Cindy Leone and Richard Leone, 161 N.H. 566 (2011): Lead counsel a domestic relations trial and appeal in which the New Hampshire Supreme Court overturned Family Division’s denial of father’s request to appear by telephone.
